What does it really mean to stay in a Pod hotel?

The concept of pod hotel is to rip the hotel of its unrequired facilities and compress it down for a single person’s utility. The rooms measure 7 by 4 feet in length and height.
The idea which was originally for accommodating guests for a place to sleep has now gained so much popularity all over the world. Countries like China, Belgium, Iceland, Philippines and Hong Kong have started to implement it in the past 5 years, not just to accommodate more people in a chunk of an area but also to let them experience the peculiarity of it.

Where is it in India?

Mumbai. An exclusive pod hotel, known as Urbanpod is located opposite Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ) in Andheri, IT hub of Mumbai. It began its operation from 1 March 2017.

While the reviews of people staying in pod hotels are hot and cold both, it really was all about the staff’s hospitality and the neighbor’s interactivity.Due to such close proximity with the nearest neighbor, it would be awkward not to greet them.But nonetheless, in a world full of peculiar and beautiful things, it is yet another addition. Most people will enjoy it. It’s worth a try.
